How to Host a dish Soap Drive

Thank you for your interest in hosting a dish soap drive for Each Stitch Counts. 

 Every bottle collected will be donated to a local food pantry with a handmade dishcloth.  Those in need often go without this basic cleaning product and are grateful for our assistance.

First, contact us at info@eachstitchcounts.org and tell us about your plans for a drive.  We’re happy to help in any way that we can.

Determine your location and timeline for collecting the dish soap.

Below you’ll find a poster that you can download and print or feel free to create your own.

Gather a box or bin or even a laundry basket and attach the sign.  Then place it in your chosen location.

Advertise your donation. Here’s a sample social media post about the drive.

We’re collecting 12-16 ounce bottles of dish soap to be donated to local food pantries.  Each Stitch Counts will attach a handmade dishcloth to each bottle making it extra special for those in need.  Donations can be dropped off at _____________ until _______________.

When your drive is complete, contact Each Stitch Counts and we’ll arrange for pick up of the dish soap. We’ll add the labels and attach the handmade dishcloths.  If you prefer, your group can assist in this process.

 You can designate a specific food pantry to receive the items.

Please keep in mind the number of bottles collected whether large or small will impact the lives of each person that receives the product.
